COERR Volunteer Groups Distributed Blankets to needy Villagers Suffering from Cold Spell

   Between Christmas and Children’s Day, December 25th, 2019 – January 11th, 2020, COERR staff and several volunteer groups distributed the donated blankets to needy villagers affected by cold spell in various dioceses: displaced persons in Ban Mae La Oon Temporary Shelter and Thai villagers in nearby Mae Tor La Village, Mae Sam Laep Subdistrict, Sop Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province.

   More blankets were distributed to cold spell victims through Catholic Church network: St. Camillo Church in Sri Wichian Village, Tha Sut Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province; St. Joseph Church in Den Hom Village, Bo Kaeo Subdistrict, Samoeng District, Chiang Mai Province; St. Mark Church in Kao Charoenphon Village, Prachasuksun Subdistrict, Lan Krabue District, Kamphaeng Phet Province; Visitation Church in in Nong Kin Phen Subdistrict, Warin Chamrap District and Mary Queen of Peace Church in Ban Nongdindam Catholic Church, Khilek Subdistrict, Nam Khun District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, etc.
